Parking interface
Accessible spaces and access aisles connect to curb and pedestrian routes. Their relationship should be coordinated with the project documents and site markings.
ACC’s published ADA retrofit work includes concrete modifications where ramps, slopes, grades and parking access must be brought into the project’s accessibility design.

Accessible spaces and access aisles connect to curb and pedestrian routes. Their relationship should be coordinated with the project documents and site markings.
Curb ramps and transitions need accurate elevations and tie-ins so the path moves cleanly from vehicle areas to walks.
Existing grades, slopes, landings and route geometry can make retrofit work especially sensitive to field conditions.
The concrete work must connect into the broader accessibility design at the entrance or destination point.

When the existing site geometry changes, curb, sidewalk, pavement or repair work may become part of the same project. ACC publishes each of those as related commercial capabilities.
