Existing concrete has history. Alteration work has to work with it.

ACC describes a substantial part of its workload as concrete alterations to existing spaces, including warehouse maintenance, pavement replacement, cutting, demolition and ADA-related modifications.

Tenant / facility changes

Cutting, trenching, footers, demo and infill can appear in the same alteration.

ACC’s previous service information specifically lists these scopes in connection with tenant build-outs and existing commercial spaces. The work often happens in sequence with plumbing, equipment or layout changes.

Repair + replacement

Define the finished condition before removal begins.

Replacement limits, base condition, reinforcing, finish and tie-ins should be understood as part of the scope. That helps the repair reconnect to the surrounding slab, pavement or walk.

Occupied properties

Phasing is part of the work.

Existing facilities can carry operating constraints that new construction does not. Access, debris movement, temporary closures and return-to-service timing belong in the project conversation.

Design coordination

Existing conditions still have to meet the project drawings.

ACC’s published positioning emphasizes coordination to design and engineering specifications for alterations. Field conditions may require additional verification before the planned work can be executed.
